Mexico Missions Trip

Every summer Go, Inc. takes around seventeen different groups & churches to serve the people of Mexico for nine days.

While in Mexico, Go, Inc. partners with the organization, Amor Ministries, that has been serving in Mexico for over 35 years. Go, Inc. serves in several different capacities while there: house building, Vision Clinics, and Vacation Bible Schools.

Our Mexico trip is focused on empowering, challenging, and encouraging youth to step up and lead. Therefore, we encourage youth to step into leadership roles, meaning adults may be under the leadership of teens. While there we sleep in large army tents, eat as a collective group, provide a chance to worship together every night, as well as one time with our brothers & sisters in Christ in Mexico, and hear from a variety of fellow participants through speaking & prayer.

This trip is a great trip for anyone that has ever wondered what mission's is all about and what it might be like to serve in a cross-cultural context.

House Building

One of the major service opportunities that we offer for those participating with us is the chance to build a house for a family in need. Our house building teams are made up of 14 to 15 youth & adults, working together to complete a house in a time-span of five-days. There is no experience necessary, just a willing heart and a servants attitude. When the house is complete our teams present the house to the family; giving them keys, a few household items, and most importantly a Bible.

Vision Clinics

Another ministry opportunity we offer is putting on Vision Clinics in the communities we are working in. Go, Inc. partners with local churches in Mexico to put on several Vision Clinics. At the clinics we test a person's short-distance and long-distance vision and provide reading & prescription glasses if needed. Every person leaves the clinic with at least of pair of new sunglasses in hand.

Vacation Bible School

Our last ministry, but definitely not least, is by loving and caring for the children of Mexico through Vacation Bible Schools. Children are taught about God's love through games, songs, crafts, lessons, and a variety of activities. Our VBS team also partners with local churches in Mexico to hopefully get the children and families connected to Christ through their local church. Our hope and prayer is that every child will walk away knowing that Jesus loves and cares about them personally!
